The Aluminum Specialty Company certainly had their marketing game on point as well as an early licensing agreement from Modern Coatings under patent # 2,893,149.
As an established producer of aluminum products, ASC had the resources to move and shake their way to the top of the market.
The history of Evergleam is by far the most fully documented of aluminum Christmas tree manufacturers. As an early entrant in the aluminum Christmas tree market, Aluminum Specialty Company’s product line was overwhelmingly larger and more far-reaching than any of its competitors.
Today, Evergleam aluminum Christmas trees are the hottest commodities on the collector market. For the non-silver trees, the demand is high and the competition is fierce. In 2023, a 4-foot Evergleam Blue Burgundy sold at auction for a record-setting $17,201! As of April 2026, the record still stands.
