The Aluminum Forest emerges annually beneath the palms and pines of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. With the first fall breeze, dozens of vintage Aluminum Christmas trees start popping up in the mid-century seaside home of Kelly Brennan McClure. By Thanksgiving, it is ready to shine. The aluminum Christmas trees, in models and colors rarely seen, are the anchors for the sprawling vintage Christmas display that has become an annual fundraiser for Hilton Head Humane.
The Aluminum Forest website is an extension of Kelly’s love of the collection, and her desire to share the information, history, and photos she has curated over 10+ years of collecting and researching aluminum Christmas trees.
