Here we enter a microcosm of the Aluminum Christmas Tree Universe, and it seems that Mirro plays the part of the sun. The telltale sign is the indisputable patented aluminum bracketed pole with adjustable collars. This design was held by Michael Lalick of Mirro, registered in 1961.

Dalyn seems to have been manufacturing trees for branding as Sapphire by Regal Electronics, though Dalyn slapped their stamp on the Regal box. Relationship status: Complicated.

The Dalyn-Christmas-Queen-Sapphire-By-Regal is a 7.5’ blue-green aluminum wonder served up in a Regal Electronics Box with model #15375.

A 1960 ad for the Sapphire touts a “Patented Process” of mechanically fastened needles, guaranteeing that branches will not unravel. This patented process has not been found thus far, unless it is Mirro.

Hallmarks of Regal by Dalyn

Furriest tree everrrrrrrrr, double-wound using blue windings and green windings. The rods can barely hold all that fluff. A statement tree like no other.

The Regal box, as well as ads, trumpet “exclusive curl & twist needles.” Not to be confused with the Twist-N-Kurl version by Metal Trees Co.
