The Aluminum Forest 2020
Due to distancing guidelines in SC, The Aluminum Forest was turned inside-out for the 2020 season. Aluminum Trees were staged in the many picture windows around the house, with motionette vignettes in the foreground.
Visitors were welcome to walk about to see the sparkly, animated display that was a sentimental tip-of-the-hat to the magical mid-century department store windows at Christmastime.
The Inside-Out Display continued as a fundraiser for Hilton Head Humane.
Made of cast aluminum, this authentic Woolworth’s sign hung on the downtown Woolworth’s building in Memphis, TN
